Girls just want to be pretty

You may see some girls who look absolutely gorgeous and natural that it seems like they make no effort to look gorgeous. Well, they do put in lots of effort to look gorgeous. Sometimes you think that they don't even put much time and money into all the beauty products that they use at all. Tanning, make-up, dieting, high heels. All because they want to look beautiful.

But why do they want to look pretty? For their friends? Boyfriends? Maybe they're trying to impress somebody. The answer to that may possibly be one or all of the above, however, the answer may also be because they want to look pretty to themselves. It may sound silly but it's true. People tend to notice their own flaws instead of other people's. One person may see another as a total beauty but that person may see themselves as someone who's ugly. What they don't realize is that other people see them more often then themselves, if that made sense. What I meant is, lets say person A is called Jenny and person B is Lucy. Jenny thinks she doesn't look pretty but she doesn't realize that Lucy sees her prettiness more than Jenny. Of course, this is only effective if Jenny doesn't spend 24/7 looking in the mirror or photos of her. What's more, your beauty doesn't matter once people find out your personality. Like most high schools, there's always one girl who's the most popular and beautiful girl but usually, they always turn out to have such horrible personality and makes them look so ugly and annoying... Or maybe that's just from watching too much TV.

There's also the case where a girl is told by her boyfriend that she's pretty but she still does all her attempts to look pretty. Want to know why? That is because, even if it is the truth, if she does not believe the truth, what is the point in hearing the truth? In saying this, if she doesn't believe that she is pretty, as told by her boyfriend, that is because she wants to look pretty for herself. However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't tell her that she's pretty because sometimes, hearing it relieves her a bit although that depends on her mindset.

I'm sadly running out of things to blog about this but what really matters of course, is the inner beauty of girls, not the outer beauty. It doesn't matter how you dress or how much your clothes are or how much time you spend on your hair, everyone will quickly look for your inner beauty. Say it's winter. What's better? To be warm or to be beautiful? This question puzzles me whenever it's cold and all the girls around me are complaining that they're cold. Perhaps you can tell me why?
